plumball

A modest dark space houses the projection, plumball, which fills one wall with larger-than life size images.  The parallel wall is covered in orange velvet allowing the viewer to locate oneself through touch in the darkness.  Images of plums being peeled are intermittently dispersed with the construction of melon balls.  The newly exposed plum flesh losses its roundness while the cantaloupe interior transforms into circular forms.  The audio contains the actual sounds manipulated.
